I have had the opportunity to work closely with Chris since I joined Dyson and have seen first-hand the impact he has made on our global Data & Digital transformation.

Chris has an incredible combination of speed and technical curiosity. He embraces new tools quickly—from BI and Office products to AI and automation—and applies them intelligently to deliver high-quality results at pace. He has a natural instinct for finding better ways of doing things and, importantly, turns that curiosity into practical solutions that make a real difference.

Just as importantly, Chris engages naturally with team members and stakeholders at all levels, whether to generate insights, resolve issues, or simply fix the glitches that get in the way. He is generous with his time and knowledge, and has a knack for understanding what people actually need rather than simply providing the technically correct answer. This makes him both an effective problem solver and a highly valued colleague.

I have seen him lead juniors, peers, and colleagues senior to him in a wide range of situations—coaching others, managing work, challenging established thinking, and communicating complex solutions clearly and effectively. He is comfortable taking ownership when something needs to get done and equally comfortable bringing others with him.

What particularly stands out is Chris's combination of technical capability, pace, judgement and personal engagement. He can move comfortably between the detail of a problem and the broader objective, while maintaining a strong focus on delivering a useful outcome. He is someone people trust to get to grips with a difficult problem quickly, find a pragmatic way forward, and follow through.

Chris has been a significant contributor wherever I have worked with him, and I have no doubt that his curiosity, adaptability and ability to influence others will continue to make him an asset to any team or organization.

I had the pleasure of working alongside and leading Chris Vaughan over the past couple of years in the Global Revenue Analytics & Insights team at Dyson. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to work with and learn from such an outstanding professional and person.

I've had the pleasure of working closely with Chris over the last 2 years as my primary partner on the Revenue Analytics BI team. Chris has been an invaluable team member of the Global Revenue Analytics & Insights team.

He has been fundamental in establishing and developing the Revenue Control Tower, a centralised site that houses our team’s reporting suite and resources - it is the go to place for business stakeholders, as it contains a wide range of accessible reporting and information.

Furthermore he has implemented a number of internal team processes, including a centrally governed, semi-automated access request process, that enables business users to effectively obtain access to relevant reporting & datasets. This exemplifies his pro-active, problem solving approach to providing solutions to complex business challenges.

He is also a proficient at developing well-designed and easy to understand BI dashboards, that deliver maximum insight across the business. I had the pleasure of closely working with him as part of a Global Market Share project and was able to see the output of his Tableau skills firsthand.

In addition to this, one of Chris’ biggest strengths is his innovative mindset as he always strives to utilise technology in order to automate business processes and unlock key insights. He has led a number of AI initiatives, including the development of Dyson’s global AI tool, AIDA, as well as RAI-dar, a chat agent & bot that provides business data and insights across internal file resources.

Chris has become the AI expert at Dyson. He will no doubt continue to harness emerging technologies to develop innovative business intelligence solutions and deliver meaningful value to any organisation.
